WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A journey between body and mind that combines the pulsating rhythm of Afro dance with the serenity of meditation.
“Dance Your Freedom” is an experiential workshop that invites participants to explore their essence through movement and deep listening. In this unique practice, the vitality and energy of Afro dance intertwine with the calm and awareness of yogic meditation, creating a safe and welcoming space for authentic expression and inner connection.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
- Afro Dance: Free and dynamic movements that draw on the rich African tradition, help to ground, awaken vital energy and release physical and emotional tension.
- Mindfulness Yoga©: Breathing, visualization and awareness techniques to calm the mind and promote a state of balance and presence.
- Body-mind connection: A harmonious flow between movement and stillness, action and inner listening.
WHY?
- Free the body through rhythm and spontaneous movement.
- Cultivate presence and listening to the present moment.
- Promote a greater connection with oneself and others in a climate of freedom and authenticity.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The course is open to everyone, absolutely everyone. Without limits of ability, experience, origins. It can be useful both for those who want to find a little inner peace, to calm the mind and regenerate from the fatigue of the day, and for those who want to awaken their energy and raise their vital state, or for those who want to experiment with something new.
It helps to free the mind from the incessant whirlwind of thoughts and the body from many superstructures, trying to transmit the ability to observe oneself from the outside and to listen carefully and perceive with sensitivity the whispers of the soul.
DANCE YOUR FREEDOM!
WHO IS THE FACILITATOR?
«I love to transmit the fire of dance, the good it has done to me, to bring out that part of us that when it emerges can do nothing but dance! Beyond the formal, beyond professions, beyond judgments, beyond worries, beyond physical, mental and cultural barriers, that part of us connects us all and brings with it joy, satisfaction and trust. In that space we are all free. I love to see people dance, especially those who don’t usually do it, especially those who start off by saying “..no but I will never dance…” or “…no okay I’m a pole…” and then at a certain point you see them twirling in the grip of Dionysus in a state of grace.»
